Freire triumphs again in “La Primavera”, using Di2
The podium of Milan – San Remo was climbed by a familiar face: Oscar Freire (Team Rabobank) won Saturdays’ edition for the third time in his career, proving once again he is one of the greatest cycling icons in this era.
It was the 70th victory in his 13-year professional career. Freire confirmed that next year will be his final season as a professional racer.
Oscar Freire was using SHIMANO DURA-ACE Di2 components, DURA-ACE wheels and a PRO Vibe handlebar and stem. The same equipment used by a lot of other riders this season in their quest for victory.
